quilters Marianne Fons and daughter Mary Fons present unusual quilts made by
mostly unknown quilters from the past, as well as a few from present day,
examining remarkable works from the standpoints of exceptional engineering,
exceptional risk-taking, or exceptional personality. They also share visuals of their own latest,
greatest quilts.
You call THAT a Quilt?
In this
delightful, insightful presentation, avid quilters Marianne Fons and Mary Fons
discuss quilt style nomenclature in current, and sometimes controversial, use,
including traditional, Studio/Art, Contemporary, and Modern. Using images of quilts past and present,
Marianne and Mary celebrate the elements all quilts, and quilters, have in
common.
